Oil Change Process
Oil change includes:
• High end drain (minimum 30 minutes or more)
Synthetic density oil filter
• High density air filter
• Excelerated Oil fill up
• Fluids checked and filled (transmission, brake, power steering, radiator, windshield)
It Should be noted that the first oil change may not go as long as the 2nd or 3rd oil changes.
The first change is involved in alot of cleansing of the tar and varnish removel from previous oil changes. Because of the cleansing process, the first change may only go 5,000 to 10,000.
We start our Oil Change Process by coming to you and doing a high end drain, installing a high density oil filter, a high density air filter and topping off ALL fluids.
After approximately 5,000-10,000 miles, once the varnish and sludge is removed from the engine, we come back and perform a second oil change and top off all fluids. This of course is dependent upon car make and mileage,5,000-10,000 will be the range. After that you may not need another oil change for 15,000 to 20,000 miles or more. At about 15,000 miles you may want to start checking your oil. If it is turning black in color or starting to discolor you usually have about 2000 miles left on it before you will need your next single oil change.
Because of the inferior quality of traditional oils, they recommend they be changed every 3,000 to 5,000 miles. While every vehicle is different, on average Excelerated Oil only needs to be changed every 15,000, 20,000 or even as much as 30,000 miles. The difference is due to the oxidation points of the oils. Traditional oils typically have a boiling point of 500 to 600 degrees Fahrenheit. Excelerated Oil's final boiling point is around 1100 degrees Fahrenheit. Longer periods between oil changes, extended engine life, increased engine power, we are a mobile oil change service (we come to you), and improved fuel efficiency are just a few reasons why EXCELERATED MOTOR OIL is superior in virtually every category.
